your job I want you to listen and try to figure out what the message of each kid is and at the end I'll ask you which was your favorite message and they tried to design nice to think about what message you can get out of this each student needs to their goal is to give you a message to take to fifth grade and to take in life okay and they're going areas and and finds that they live through and when they experience and what they can teach and give to you so take it use it or throw it out whatever right put try to think about and what can I use to make my life better okay and at the end I want I want to hear like which 1 really had an effect on me right and while we're waiting for this harlows class I'm going to now the time is coming my name is Kayla and today I want to talk about the when I was 4 years old my life completely changed I had to leave everyone around my home country and move to the United States I didn't know any English I didn't know anyone everything was new language even the way people dress in life but I remember my first day of school I didn't know how to act see the bathroom I didn't know they gave the other kids so alone and honestly I but I didn't I showed up every day when I was scared and even when I saw that it didn't fit in I still can't I started making friends I started to begin to understand the jokes the school lunches and the homework but I learn something really even does not mean you're not scared it means you keep trying when you are scared being afraid is about showing up when everything feels unfamiliar when you try out and for speaking milk on your body shape for to the new and Korean dictators you don't have to be perfect you have to be good for a new way as a little as it can help why because something bigger than so for example so only she shows me to the ground this and this now listen I don't have something there or something like to be something just a moment in time maybe it's a sunset you're very glanced at what's going on with your phone or the sound of your best friend's laugh I didn't believe pay attention to because you were too busy to thinking about what to say next that we actually we're so busy that you're with your friends laughing or just sitting in the kitchen with the family pause take it in and let it become a better way to be glad to hear this and I'll be talking about your body so maybe you're getting interviewed for a job or maybe you're about to shake the Preston's hand what if you refuse to shake the president's hand what do you think will happen will it all be in the news and then the whole world will be yapping about it for weeks well this shows that a head gestures are eye contact and a body language can make it impact in our lives for example let's say our teacher is our first name school and then you just give a really what is 1 what do you think you have a really neat face what do you think the teachers First Impressions will be or what if they're teaching a math lesson is it 3 what if we just laugh at them what if we just be mean um well maybe instead we could help them so be a role model to other students show them to be nice kind and imagine this you're in a soccer game discourse 2 3 larger team is winning your teammate passes you the ball 1 defender on you your teammate wide open has bad aim or you keep the ball see these are the smallest to make in life whether it's what to wear to the park or who to sell your multi-million dollar companies what whatever decision you make you'll make the right 1 what are your doubting yourself you you'll choose to make the right decision for example as a goalie I have to always think that the ball going left or is it going right we're doing the small decisions I have to make in the field and in real life and if I can make all of that in my head you can too thank you come good morning my name is and today I want that was different have you boys and girls actually took the time to think about the respect it is you might say oh respectfulness is being constant but it's much more than that your job I love that you guys are moved up into but we still need to keep a sensor thank you for calling others the way we want to be true to nobody's sad left out all alone all right be kind nice and respectful to people that are different you want to be some people they don't do you want to be situation this is easy I'm going to rush and then I'm going to get to the shop always and I'm from 504 but you already know that right so um do you know that Christianity it's that people want to see the expectation but it's not easy to say that you're the best you have to put a hurt and hard work every day and that's how and that's how you and me and everyone around us can be to be better and to be a pro 1 day um can I please show ahead to pull as much to be a participant all right thank you yes and another 1 it's so nice if I'm if I'm playing a soccer match right and if I've got the last 2 my teammate and so and if I fail the enemy might get the ball and the only we could store so that every day I'll be training to to progress to prepare and execute the perfect class and maybe 1 day in a match I feel a perfect class and then my teammate gets the ball and we score so just prove it like if you train your hardest and do the best that you can you can you can be the better and be a pro 1 so that's why hard work and determination will exceed our expectations and I have 1 day and I have 1 last week to say store high and reach your goals I want to talk about what's happening predator or most people they don't really have to make their review before they choose for me I've known I wanted to be fair for a while now I think of myself as a result no matter what I do I'm always with someone or something for I don't want to approach another good thing about it is that I can help my family get something they want to be able to think about a positive impact you can make for your personality have you ever played a you feel the same time have you ever had a bad problem you just couldn't get it right well I have and even though I kept feeling I always I never gave up and always kept trying and eventually I got the and you shouldn't either and you should be positive and stay patient when you get something wrong because when you're a positive you have a good mindset and when you are a patient you are most likely to get the problem right and you will understand um you should always be patient when you're getting problems wrong because when you get it wrong and you are patient and you are most likely to be so like find your mistake and get it right and even if you don't get it wrong if you're a patient when you are working you will get the problem right you should always be positive when you um get a problem wrong because then you will have um a growth mindset when you have a it you will think oh Shasha got the problem right and I never look up I will always get it right and never give up but when you are not positive then you have a fixed mindset and think oh should I send out the problem wrong I can get and I will never ever be able to get anything right and I'm not never kept trying why you should only be positive so please remember be patient and stay positive and never give up my teacher my in cash that when you get a problem right it's just a stepping stone to success today I'm here to tell you there's something in the states and what is the most important when it comes to this sometimes but sometimes want to be a soccer player a lot of people do but never can why you may ask because they think that you can sit down on a couch and get together don't do that then we will discuss that your work put on the team so I'm going to give it 110% all the time no matter what I made a change to another bag of your dreams always following them for example let me give you more place before the best schools in the world and something but what age do you think he got it on the team 15 and personally 1 of my favorites early Halloween it's quite a permanent this means you scored 3 goals in 1 game with each goal being scored in a different way this made all go to an example that a good thing was happening at any time none of her bad things still happen for example I want to complain socket is Michaela boy but a pillow tactic of all go to the she believes coming she an example that bad things could happen but still that didn't stop her trying to win the match this is the reality that bad things do happen we don't of everything and where everything is good but still I was trying to make the most of life and the real friend lives you up not tears you down today I want to talk about something we all think about at some point what makes a real sometimes we get caught up in friendships that don't really support us and they can be tough to figure out who's juggling and there for us a real friend is someone who shows up not just when things are fun Lord life gets messy they celebrate your wins and stick around when you're struggling should I have friends with everything is going great but a real friend against the another big sign of a real friend they respect you your feelings your families your goals who you are they don't make you feel small or insecure said instead they support your growth and encourage you to be your best supplement as a friend constantly puts you down and makes everything about themselves or disappears when you need them that's a red flag honesty is key your friend message is telling you what you they tell you the truth even when it's hard but they do it in a way that comes from love not judge me if they make a mistake they apologize if you mess up they give you space to grow and I'm holding it over your head let's not forget that the best friendships it's making me happy so how do you decide if your friends are real friends pay attention to how you treat how they treat you when someone else is watching how they act when life gets tough and whether they make you feel about you life is too short to hold on to surround yourself with people who lift you up challenge you to be better and remind you why your friendship is 1 of the most beautiful parts of your life first of all I just want to thank you guys for respectful audience to your teachers because you has a really what grade and good luck next year and you are the rest of your year the fifth grade is a is a fun ride and it's the last year next year you guys will be Kings of the school just like we were this year so listen thank you so much just give me 3 topics that we did that you learned from what was 1 I value your friends being brave be nice to people helping people respect never give up friendship what body language maturity maturity live in the moment and be present kindness kindness growth mindset don't think don't think you're better than others what body language listen we have to go but I'm so happy because I know they achieved your moral listen to your phenomenal responses thank you so much we couldn't do this without you
